Quality management seminar at Trisakti

To publicize developments in information technology (IT) applications for quality management, Trisakti University will hold a two-day seminar on Nov. 30.

Intelligent use of IT could improve productivity, reliability and a company's competitiveness, the organizers said.

During the seminar, which will take place at the Hotel Menara Peninsula, West Jakarta, several management experts will discuss concepts, including quality function deployment, total quality management, customer satisfaction, six sigma, benchmarking, experiment design, taguchi, statistical process control, quality systems, the balanced scorecard, and total quality.

The university has invited lecturers, researchers, and students to propose papers at the seminar. These should be submitted to the organizers on Nov. 28 at the Trisakti campus on Jl. Kyai Tapa, Grogol, West Jakarta.
