PT PP (Persero) Tbk has completed the construction of 69 Satuan Pelayanan Pemenuhan Gizi (SPPG) units as support for the Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG) programme. Corporate Secretary of PTPP, Joko Raharjo, stated that the project was finished within 37 calendar days starting from 25 November 2025. “This project, with a contract value of Rp507.8 billion, has been successfully completed with 100 per cent progress achievement,” said Joko on Saturday (25/4/2026). The construction of the SPPG is spread across 15 provinces, covering Banten, West Java, Central Java, East Java, East Nusa Tenggara, West Nusa Tenggara, West Sulawesi, South Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, Central Sulawesi, North Sulawesi, Gorontalo, Maluku, North Maluku, and Papua. Joko explained that these facilities are built to support the production of hygienic, standardised, and efficient food. “These facilities are expected to meet the nutritional needs of the community, especially children and vulnerable groups,” said Joko. He added that the presence of SPPG is hoped to contribute to reducing malnutrition and stunting rates, while also improving the quality of human resources. The programme is also seen as able to alleviate the economic burden on families. In its implementation, PTPP relied on a modular construction system to accelerate building in various locations simultaneously. This approach allows for time efficiency without sacrificing quality. PTPP also implemented a digital-based monitoring dashboard to track project progress in real-time. The system includes monitoring of material distribution, workforce, and developments at each construction site. Joko said that the main challenge of this project lies in the wide spread of locations, thus requiring cross-regional coordination and consistent quality control. “This success demonstrates the company’s ability to handle large-scale projects within limited time,” said Joko. According to Joko, the construction of SPPG also has an economic impact in the regions, from workforce absorption to increased demand for local food materials. PTPP assesses that this project aligns with the national development agenda, particularly in improving human resource quality and equitable development. Deputy Minister of Public Works Diana Kusumastuti appreciated the completion of the project. “Alhamdulillah, it has been completed neatly; next is the handover and utilisation. Thank you,” said Diana.
