Jakarta – PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (PT SMI), a special mission vehicle under the Ministry of Finance, has launched ORIS (Obligasi Ritel Infrastruktur PT SMI), a retail infrastructure bond instrument.

The instrument forms part of PT SMI’s Sustainable Continuous Bond Public Offering Stage II 2026, with an indicative issuance target of up to Rp 300 billion.

PT SMI’s Director General, Reynaldi Hermansjah, expressed the hope that the initiative would serve as a strategic step with positive impact on expanding the domestic investor base. “ORIS represents PT SMI’s transformation as an inclusive development finance institution, where we expand access for all segments of society to directly participate in national development,” Reynaldi stated.

He emphasised that the company wants the public not merely to be observers, but active participants in Indonesia’s sustainable development ecosystem. “Through this, ORIS issuance can deepen the role of the national financial market in supporting sustainable infrastructure development,” he added.

The ORIS launch underscores PT SMI’s role as a Development Finance Institution (DFI) oriented towards economic growth and improved quality of life for the community. All funds raised through ORIS will finance projects with positive social and environmental impact, in accordance with PT SMI’s Sustainable Funding Framework.

Projects cover “green” sectors such as renewable energy and environmentally friendly transportation, as well as “social” sectors including healthcare facilities, education, and clean water provision. This funding framework ensures principles of sustainability, accountability, and transparency.

“ORIS is also supported by an idAAA national rating from Pefindo, which affirms the credibility and accountability of this instrument within the capital market ecosystem,” Reynaldi noted.

As part of the public offering process, PT SMI alongside appointed Joint Lead Underwriters – PT BRI Danareksa Securities, PT DBS Vickers Securities Indonesia, PT Indo Premier Securities, and PT Trimegah Securities Indonesia Tbk. – will conduct a series of ORIS socialisation and roadshow events in Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, and Medan to provide prospective investors with comprehensive understanding.
