PSI Deputy Chairman Assaulted, Perpetrators Arrested: Police Reveal the Chronology

Central Jakarta Metro Police have arrested two perpetrators who assaulted Ronald Aristone Sinaga, the Deputy General Chairman of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI), also known as Bro Ron. The suspects are currently under examination. “The two suspected perpetrators have been secured at the Menteng Police Sector for further processing,” said AKBP Braiel Arnold Rondonuwu, Head of the Menteng Metro Police Sector, Central Jakarta Metro Police, to reporters in Jakarta on Tuesday. According to him, the victim, Bro Ron, has filed a police report regarding the assault incident that took place on Monday (4/5) around 4:22 PM WIB. “Mr Ronald has filed a police report, and we have escorted him for a medical examination and taken statements, including from witnesses,” he stated. The incident began when the victim, along with 15 other individuals who are employees of PT Sinergi Karya Sejahtera, arrived to hold an audience at the office of Michael Putra Dan Partners regarding the unpaid wages of the employees.
