Propel seeks RI project
KUALA LUMPUR (Reuter): Projek Penyelenggaraan Lebuhraya Bhd
(Propel) has entered into an agreement with an Indonesian
consortium to jointly bid for privatization of a toll road in
Indonesia.
The consortium comprises five Indonesian firms -- PT Citra
Lamtoro Gung Persada, PT Tridan Satriaputra Indonesia, PT
Kowarman International Corp, PT Arthayasa Mandiri and PT Sira
Tama Agra Raya, a Propel statement said.
Citra group spokesman Fariza Irawady was quoted by Bernama
news agency as saying that the toll road connecting Ciawi,
Sukabumi and Citatah in West Java would cost 2.0 billion ringgit
and would take four years to complete.
The consortium, if successful in its bid, would construct,
operate and maintain the toll road and would be given a
concession to collect toll for 30 years, he told reporters after
the agreement signing.
