Profile of Singer "Cik Cik Bum Bum" Fadia A Rafiq, Pekalongan Regent Arrested in Sting Operation
Jakarta – Pekalongan Regent Fadia A Rafiq has been caught in a Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) sting operation in Central Java on Tuesday, 3 March 2026.
“It is confirmed that during this closed investigation operation, our team secured several individuals in the Pekalongan region, Central Java, including the regent,” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo in a statement on Tuesday.
The KPK has since brought Fadia and several other individuals to the Red and White Building in Jakarta for further examination.
According to the Pekalongan Regency Government Office website, Fadia A Rafiq was born in Jakarta on 23 May 1978. He is known to be the son of senior dangdut singer A. Rafiq.
Before entering politics, Fadia A Rafiq was a singer who performed the song titled “Cik Cik Bum Bum”.
Fadia Arafiq holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management from AKI Semarang University. He subsequently obtained a Master’s degree in Management from Stikubank Semarang University and a doctorate from Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 (UNTAG) Semarang.
The Golkar party politician also served as Chairman of the Golkar Party Regional Leadership (DPD) for Pekalongan Regency from 2016 to 2021, prior to his tenure as regent.
As Regent of Pekalongan, Fadia A Rafiq has served for two terms: 2021–2026 and 2025–2030.
