JAKARTA (JP): State Minister of Research and Technology B.J.
Habibie said yesterday that Indonesia had offered a variety of
high-tech products to Yemen.

After accompanying Yemen Deputy Prime Minister Abdul Kader
Bajaman to a meeting with President Soeharto here, Habibie told
journalists that these high-tech products included telephone
sets, steel, weaponry, train cars, helicopters and aircraft.

He said Bajaman, who arrived here on Wednesday night for a
five-day official visit, had asked him for more time to discuss
possible cooperation between the two countries. (rid)
