Probe on fatal brawl

BANDAR LAMPUNG, Lampung: South Lampung Regency Chief Sunardi
said police are still investigating a brawl which broke out in
Putih Doh village on Feb. 21, during Idul Fitri, which left four
people dead and one seriously injured.

Sunardi promised that the matter would be resolved as soon as
possible because many people in the village now feel restless.

Six people are currently in police custody, he said, adding
that preliminary investigations suggested the brawl, in which
some people welded machetes, initially began as a small argument.
