Jakarta – The Presidential Chief of Staff (KSP), General (Ret.) TNI Dudung Abdurachman, has stated that he has received instructions from President Prabowo Subianto regarding national priority programmes, such as the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) and the Red White Village Cooperatives.

Dudung emphasised that he will personally intervene to inspect all these national priority programmes. He will collaborate with relevant stakeholders.

“Yes, the President directed me, ‘Pak Dudung, try to check it’. Because these national priority programmes are one way to ensure the flagship priorities of the President, one of which is MBG, then the Red White Cooperatives, and we will check them. So I will reactivate collaboration with relevant stakeholders,” Dudung told reporters at the KSP Office in Central Jakarta on Tuesday, 5 May 2026.

Dudung promised to report the latest developments regarding these national priority programmes.

“I ask for prayers. Later, if I find something, I will directly reveal it to the reporters. Just report who the perpetrators are, who is not right, yes. Because this is the people’s money, the people must know,” he said.

Previously, the Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Dadan Hindayana, clarified circulating information regarding the suspension status of the Nutrition Fulfilment Service Units (SPPG) or MBG kitchens and their connection to incentive provision.

He stated that not all suspended SPPGs automatically lose incentives, but rather it is determined based on the cause and level of violation that occurred.

In the case of Extraordinary Events (KLB), incentive provision heavily depends on the source of the problem. If the KLB occurs due to negligence by partners or foundations, such as unworthy kitchen facilities or those not meeting standards, then that SPPG is not entitled to incentives.

The same applies if food security incidents are triggered by non-fresh raw materials or errors from partners as raw material providers.

“Including if there are unhealthy practices like supplier monopolies or price manipulation, they clearly cannot receive incentives,” Dadan said in a written statement on Wednesday, 29 April 2026.

He added that if the KLB occurs due to technical errors at the kitchen implementer level, for example, not following standard operational procedures (SOP) such as cooking processes that are too hasty, then the SPPG can still receive incentives despite being suspended.
