Pramono Restricts Uploaders of JAKI Reports Following AI Photo Manipulation Case
JAKARTA - Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung has restricted access to uploading reports to the JAKI application following a case of manipulating PPSU work reports using artificial intelligence (AI) technology in Kalisari, Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta.
Pramono stated that in the future, only the officers who actually handle citizens’ complaints will be allowed to upload work documentation.
“Those who may upload are the ones who actually do the work. We are improving the system to make it more transparent,” Pramono said after attending the 2026 Town Hall Meeting at the Grand Theatre of Taman Ismail Marzuki, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday (15/4/2026).
“After we delved into various issues, including the one in Kalisari, it truly tarnishes Jakarta’s image. I do not want it to happen again,” Pramono added.
He also reminded all officers to work genuinely, not just to produce reports to please superiors.
“No more just giving or pleasing the leadership, but real work in the field,” he said.
Pramono admitted to having met directly with the three officers involved and issued them stern warnings.
“So there are three people who have received SP 1, a warning letter, and earlier I met each of them personally. I conveyed that this is their last chance if they still want to work in DKI Jakarta,” Pramono said.
“If it happens again, we will definitely take harsher action,” he emphasised.
