Jakarta (ANTARA) - Governor of DKI Jakarta Pramono Anung has given an opportunity to return to work to Public Facilities and Infrastructure Handling Officers (PPSU) who uploaded AI-generated photo reports in the Jakarta Kini (JAKI) application after being issued with first warning letters (SP1).

“So there are three people who have received SP1 and earlier I met each of them personally. I conveyed that this is their last chance if they still want to work in DKI Jakarta,” Pramono stressed when met after a townhall meeting with PPSU and DKI Jakarta Provincial Government officials at Taman Ismail Marzuki on Wednesday.

If the mistake is repeated, Pramono said he and his team would not hesitate to take firm action.

In response to the incident, Pramono and his team have also imposed heavy sanctions on the Head of the Economic Development Section, the Head of the Government Section, and the Kalisari Ward Head.

“As for their superiors, from the Head of the Economic Development Section and the Head of the Government Section, including the Kalisari Ward Head, we have relieved them of their duties,” Pramono explained.

At the townhall event, Pramono also provided guidance to all PPSU in DKI Jakarta to avoid similar actions.

He emphasised that the entire apparatus must collaborate to make Jakarta a better city.

As Jakarta’s leader, he acknowledged that he cannot work alone. Therefore, he hopes that the PPSU can also perform their duties well.

Previously, East Jakarta Mayor Munjirin stated that his side is committed to taking firm action against every violation, especially those related to transparency and accuracy in public service reports.

The East Jakarta City Government will also tighten supervision of JAKI application usage to ensure that every report submitted truly matches the real conditions in the field and can be held accountable.
