Pramono Distributes 1,108 Free Service Cards to Seribu Islands Residents
Jakarta — Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo distributed Free Service Cards (Kartu Layanan Gratis, KLG) to 1,108 residents in the Seribu Islands whilst making a Ramadan Safari visit.
“On this occasion, we also announce that approximately 1,108 residents have received Free Service Cards,” Pramono stated in the Seribu Islands on Friday.
However, Pramono appealed to elderly residents who have not yet received the card to register themselves first. He assured that the DKI Jakarta provincial government is committed to distributing the cards equitably across 15 population groups, including the elderly.
“It is the responsibility of the DKI Jakarta provincial government to provide this right. Therefore, anything related to the elderly, we will certainly resolve,” Pramono said.
For DKI Jakarta residents who have received the KLG but whose cards are lost or damaged, there is no need for concern. Users can still enjoy the card’s service benefits by following the replacement procedures established by Transjakarta.
If a card is lost because it cannot be located or has been stolen and could potentially be misused, users must file a report to block the card. If a card is damaged, such as when the chip cannot be read or the card surface is scratched, users must request an update to receive a new card.
Currently, the KLG replacement process can be done online, making it easier for cardholders without having to queue in person.
Additionally, KLG users wishing to renew their cards can do so on weekdays between 08:00-15:00 (West Indonesia Time) at Bank DKI branches:
