Jakarta — President Prabowo Subianto held a limited meeting with several ministers to discuss the implementation of an Export Agency named PT Danantara Sumberdaya Indonesia (DSI). The agency is set to begin recording export activity on 1 June.

Attendees included Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, Bank Indonesia Governor Perry Warjiyo, Trade Minister Budi Santoso, Industry Minister Agus Gumiwang, Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) head Rosan Roslani, and Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Sakti Wahyu Trenggono.

‘The meeting reported to the President the plans for implementing two measures, namely the Devisa Hasil Ekspor (DHE) that will take effect on 1 June, and the export of CPO, coal, and ferro alloy that will be carried out by PT Danantara Sumber Daya Indonesia,’ Airlangga said after the meeting, on Thursday (21 May 2026).

From the two-hour meeting, ministers presented reports on various regulatory instruments, ranging from the Minister of Trade Regulation to Bank Indonesia Regulations, and Finance Ministry regulations that are being prepared.

‘They will be completed before 1 June,’ Airlangga said.

Airlangga also explained that in future export activities the reports will be submitted only to PT DSI. The activities will be carried out over three months to ensure the system runs smoothly.

During the discussion, he also revealed that the government would continue the one-day-per-week work-from-home policy for the next two months. In addition, the government will issue incentives to spur growth in the second quarter of 2026.

‘Where the war has not ended, the WFH policy will be extended for two more months. In addition, several incentives being prepared by the government to boost the economy in the second quarter could take effect,’ he said.
