President Prabowo Subianto donated a 910kg sacrificial cow to Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor in Ponorogo, East Java.
Anwar Boyaman, chairman of Gontor’s Kurban Committee, stated on Wednesday in Jakarta that the cow arrived on Monday, 25 May.

Tuesday’s Eid al-Adha prayers at Jakarta’s Istiqlal Mosque carried the theme “The Spirit of Sacrifice: Caring for Nature and Humanity”, aligning with the Ministry of Religious Affairs’ focus on eco-theology and theology of love.
Prof. H. Hamdan Juhannis, rector of State Islamic University (UIN) Alauddin Makassar, delivered the sermon titled “Strengthening the Sacrificial Spirit: Caring for Nature and Humanity”.

President Prabowo Subianto’s sacrificial cow donation has been distributed to residents in Biau District, North Gorontalo Regency, including flood-affected communities in the Didingga Indigenous Community (KAT).
Sutamin K. Usman, Biau District head, stated on Wednesday in Gorontalo: “After distribution to eligible recipients, the 1.65-ton meat from the presidential donation, delivered through Didingga Village’s Al Abrar Mosque committee, was also allocated to flood victims, particularly in KAT Didingga.”
- Cianjur receives waste-to-briquette machine
Cianjur Regency in West Java has received a waste-processing machine from the provincial government capable of converting five tonnes of trash into briquettes daily, with similar assistance provided to other districts and cities in the province.
Komarudin, Cianjur’s Environment and Forestry Service chief, said the machine will be installed in Sayang Village, which generates high daily waste levels.

Floodwaters continue to inundate the Didingga Indigenous Community (KAT) in Didingga Village, Biau District, North Gorontalo Regency, as of Wednesday.
North Gorontalo Regent Thariq Modanggu said five villages—Luhuto, Bualo, Biau, Omuto, and Didingga—were submerged on Tuesday at 15:00 WITA, with water levels reaching adults’ knees and up to window height in KAT Didingga, accompanied by strong currents.
