PPD employees to be rehabilitated

JAKARTA (JP): Six employees at the state-owned public
transportation firm PPD will receive back pay dating to October
1991.

The Jakarta Legal Aid Institute (LBH) said in a statement
yesterday that Paiman, Tarmid Suharto, Usman, Suryadi, Mardjan
Gunadi and Sukirman will receive back salaries of Rp 1 million
(US$445) each from the company.

PPD is also expected to rehabilitate their names and pay the

The six were dismissed after PPD began operating air-
