Post office has new service
BANDUNG, West Java (JP): The state-owned postal company PT Pos Indonesia yesterday launched a new service here offering overnight delivery of packages.
The new service was officially launched by Minister of Tourism, Post and Telecommunications Joop Ave at the post office headquarters here.
At the launching ceremony Joop sent a package to a colleague in Yogyakarta, hoping that the service will be delivered today.
The company's president, Cahyana Ahmadjayadi, said that Pos has to create new services to face fiercer competition in the courier industry. (17/icn)
