Post-Lebaran Return Flow: BPH Migas States Fuel Supply in Sukabumi Remains Stable
The availability of energy serves as a pillar for public mobility, particularly on routes leading to tourist areas and ports. Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Badan Pengatur Hilir Minyak dan Gas Bumi (BPH Migas) has stated that the supply of fuel (BBM) in the Sukabumi region, West Java, remains stable during the post-Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah return flow period this week. “The availability of this energy supports public mobility, especially on routes to tourist areas and ports,” said BPH Migas Committee Member Bambang Hermanto in his statement in Jakarta on Wednesday. On Tuesday (24/3/2026), Bambang inspected several public fuel filling stations (SPBU) on three strategic routes in the Sukabumi area, namely the Jakarta-Sukabumi, Sukabumi-Pelabuhan Ratu, and Sukabumi-Cianjur routes. These three routes are key nodes for vehicle movement, both for the return flow and tourist activities. The Pelabuhan Ratu area is also a favourite destination for the public during Lebaran holidays. “This field visit is to ensure the reliability of BBM supply at all SPBU in the Sukabumi region is sufficient to meet public needs. There is no need to worry about BBM stock availability, as the condition is safe,” said the committee member, who is familiarly called Baher. In the Sukabumi region, there are 85 SPBU supported by supplies from the Fuel Terminal Bandung Group in Padalarang, West Java. This BBM distribution is able to maintain supply stability amid increasing demand during the holiday season. During the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr period, PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional West Java also prepared pocket SPBU and modular units to speed up BBM refuelling at points prone to vehicle congestion. “Additionally, Pertamina Delivery Service (PDS) facilities are prepared to deliver BBM to consumers stuck in traffic jams. So, insya Allah, public needs will be fulfilled,” Baher added. In addition to ensuring stock availability, BPH Migas monitoring also focuses on the quality of service at SPBU. The results, according to him, show that BBM refuelling activities are busy but remain orderly without long queues that disrupt traffic flow. “SPBU services are also good. The public is also urged to remain calm and not make excessive purchases because BBM supply is sufficiently available,” Baher stated during the monitoring activity, which was also attended by Pertamina Patra Niaga’s Sales Area Manager Retail Sukabumi, Erlangga Prabhasasri.
