Police Reveal New Facts in Case of Teenagers' Indecent Act at PlayStation Rental in Tabanan

A case involving allegations of indecent conduct by two teenagers at a PlayStation rental on Jalan Mawar, Tabanan District, on Valentine’s Day, Saturday 14 February 2026, has entered a new phase. The incident caused a stir on social media after video footage of their actions circulated widely.

Head of Criminal Investigation at Tabanan Police Station, Senior Police Inspector Teddy Satria Permana, disclosed that the two teenagers had only recently met and met for the first time on 14 February 2026. Neither was in a romantic relationship with the other.

“So both of them became acquainted through an application and met for the first time on 14 February,” said Teddy Satria Permana at Tabanan Police Headquarters on Wednesday, 25 February 2026.

Teddy explained that following their meeting, the male teenager invited the female teenager to the PlayStation rental on Jalan Mawar. At that location, he allegedly coerced the victim into intimate contact.

The act came to the attention of one of the rental attendants due to a surveillance camera (CCTV) in the room. The footage clearly showed the incident that occurred.

The actions of both were then recorded and subsequently went viral on social media, triggering considerable public attention.

Teddy stated that police received two reports from the female teenager’s parents. The first report concerned the distribution of the video, whilst the second report concerned allegations of indecent conduct directed at the male teenager.

“This is currently under investigation. We have already called seven witnesses,” Teddy disclosed.

Meanwhile, Tabanan Police Chief, Senior Police Inspector I Putu Bayu Pati, urged parents to pay closer attention to their children’s activities and social circles.

“Parents are obliged to know who their children associate with. At minimum, they should always ask for news when their children are away from home to avoid unwanted incidents,” said Bayu Pati.
