The Indonesian National Police (Polri) continues to strengthen digital transformation in public services. This commitment is marked by the launch of the Digital Innovation Service for Police Reports (LP) and Lost Item Reports online through the Polri Super App by Deputy Chief of Police Komjen Dedi Prasetyo.

The launch took place during the Coordination Meeting (Rakor) of the Polri IT Committee for the 2026 Fiscal Year on Tuesday, 14 April 2026 at 09:00 WIB, held at the Ballroom of Hotel Mercure Ancol, North Jakarta.

In his remarks, the Deputy Chief of Police emphasised that enhancing features in the Polri Super App is a strategic step to deliver increasingly transparent, accountable, and accessible police services to the public.

The Polri Super App, now available on the App Store (iOS) and Play Store (Android), is further enriched with the addition of online police report and lost item report creation features.

Through this innovation, the public no longer needs to visit police offices for the initial reporting stage. Services can be accessed anytime and anywhere via mobile phones or devices in a practical and efficient manner.

To support more responsive services, Polri has also introduced the Police Report Consultation Engine, an integrated system that allows the public to consult online and in real-time.

Through video conference and live chat features, the public can interact directly with officers to receive guidance and initial handling quickly and accurately.

All service processes in this system are designed to be open and accountable. Each stage is digitally documented, equipped with monitoring features, communication history, and performance evaluation, ensuring professional, measurable, and transparent services.

The Deputy Chief of Police stressed that the digitalisation of services not only focuses on technology utilisation but also serves as part of improving Polri’s performance management system and a more modern, integrated work culture.

Public services must be carried out with effective, efficient procedures based on information technology, supported by modern facilities and infrastructure.

Additionally, the role of the Samapta (Pamapta) function continues to be strengthened to ensure that every public report is responded to quickly and accurately in the field.
