West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police (Polda NTB) held a ceremony of dismissal without honour (PTDH) for Police Commissioner I Made Yogi Purusa Utama at Bhara Daksa Field, on Thursday 5 March 2026. Commissioner Yogi is now officially dismissed from the Indonesian National Police.

NTB Police Chief, Inspector General Edy Murbowo, said the PTDH against Commissioner I Made Yogi Purusa Utama was due to violations of the Indonesian Police’s code of ethics.

‘This is in order to uphold the law and discipline of Polri personnel at Polda NTB, and such a ceremony is necessary so it can serve as an example for other Polri personnel,’ Edy said, on Thursday 5 March 2026.

Edy urged personnel to take this as a learning experience. ‘Hopefully this will be a lesson for all of us not to engage in conduct that could harm ourselves, our families and the institution,’ he said.

Commissioner Yogi is one of the defendants in the murder case involving Brigadier Muhammad Nurhadi, on Gili Trawangan, North Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).

Yogi stands as a defendant alongside Inspector I Gde Aris Chandra Widianto. The two are currently undergoing trial at Mataram District Court.

For Inspector I Gde Aris Chandra Widianto, PTDH sanctions have also been applied under a decision by the Police Ethics Commission (KKEP). However, the dismissal ceremony has not yet been conducted.

Public Relations Head of Polda NTB, Senior Commissioner Muhammad Kholid, said the dismissal ceremony for Inspector Aris would take place soon.

‘The others already have court decisions; the process will continue with the administrative letter of dismissal,’ Kholid said.
