Police Chief Appoints Brigadier General Totok Suharyanto as Head of Anti-Corruption Unit
Indonesia’s National Police Chief (Kapolri) General Listyo Sigit Prabowo has appointed Brigadier General Totok Suharyanto as Head of the Anti-Corruption Task Force (Kakortastipidkor) Polri.
The transfer is detailed in National Police Chief Telegram letter number ST/440//II/KEP./2026 dated 27 February 2026.
Irjen Johnny Eddizon Isir, Head of the Police Public Relations Division, stated that the transfer is part of normal organisational dynamics and represents efforts to refresh and strengthen institutional capacity. “Personnel transfers and position rotations within the Police force are routine matters as part of career development, organisational refreshment, and to improve performance and professionalism of personnel in providing the best service to the public,” he said in a written statement on Saturday (28 February).
Totok previously served as Director of Prosecution (Dirtindak) at the Anti-Corruption Task Force. He replaces Irjen Cahyono Wibowo, who was transferred to Deputy Head of the Anti-Corruption Task Force in anticipation of retirement.
The position vacated by Totok is now held by Brigadier General Roberthus Yohannes De Deo Tresna Eka Trimana, who previously served as Director of Asset Tracing and Security (DirP2A) at the Anti-Corruption Task Force.
Brigadier General Indra Lutrianto Amstono has been transferred to the post of DirP2A at the Anti-Corruption Task Force, replacing Roberthus. He previously served as Senior Criminal Investigator at the Criminal Investigation Division of the National Police.
Isir stated that the entire transfer process was conducted objectively and based on organisational requirements. “This step is part of the Police’s human resources management strategy to ensure the organisation remains adaptive, solid, and responsive to future operational challenges,” he said.
Furthermore, Isir expressed hope that the officials appointed to their new positions would quickly adapt and demonstrate dedication and integrity in carrying out their duties. “Police leadership hopes all transferred officials can work optimally, maintain internal solidarity, and continue to enhance public confidence in the Police force,” he concluded.
