Police arrest terror suspect

National Police detectives have arrested one more terrorist
suspect linked to a group of 14, who were apprehended last week
for their alleged role in terrorism attacks in the country,
including the one at the Australian Embassy last September.

National Police spokesman Brig. Gen. Soenarko told reporters
on Tuesday that the suspect, identified only by the initials
S.S., was arrested in "the Jakarta area" on Friday.

The officers suspect that he was storing munitions and
explosives, of the same type used in the embassy attack, in
addition to aiding and abetting two of the most-wanted terror
suspects -- Azahari bin Husin and Noordin M. Top, both of whom
were born in Malaysia.

"We cannot reveal the exact role he had in the terrorist
group, and we also can't publicly announce the exact location
where we found him, but I can say that he is closely linked to
the previous suspects we have arrested," Soenarko said.

The arrest came after the police detained activist Joni Achmad
Fauzani on Wednesday in Mojokerto, East Java for harboring
Azahari bin Husin.

Even though the detectives have captured a new group of
suspects, the police still have not managed to find the location
of the two Malaysian fugitives.

"We're still trying to find where they (Azahari and Noordin)
are," Soenarko pledged.

He refused to speculate when asked where he thought they might
be.

The police arrested 11 suspects in Surakarta and neighboring
town of Wonogiri in Central Java two weeks ago, while the rest
were arrested in Jakarta.
