The Feb. 10 floods in Jakarta forced many people to leave
their homes seeking shelter with relatives or elsewhere.

Also, due to the floods, many buses and mini-buses did not
operate as usual. Would-be passengers were stranded on the
roadside.

I therefore suggest car owners give a lift to people waiting
in vain for transportation. It would be a token of social
solidarity toward people in great distress.
