Peruvian photo expo at TIM

JAKARTA (JP): Thirty five color photographs about life in Peru
are on display at Gallery Cipta III of Taman Ismail Marzuki art
center.

The "Peru, a Country of Diversity" exhibition was opened by
the Peruvian ambassador's wife, Elard Escala, on Thursday night
and will last until June 27.

The exhibition, Peru's first of this kind, is held in
connection with the country's 174 anniversary and to promote
relations between the two countries.

Snowy mountains, floating markets on the Amazon's rivers, the
daily life of the natives and exotic animals are among the
favorite pictures. (pan)
