Pertamina Launches Free Homebound Travel Programme 2026
PT Pertamina (Persero) has launched the Mudik Bareng Pertamina 2026 programme as part of the company’s commitment to supporting public mobility during preparations for Eid al-Fitr 1447 AH. The free homebound travel initiative, equipped with return travel facilities, will transport travellers to more than 15 destinations across Java.
Registration for Mudik Bareng Pertamina 2026 opened on Tuesday, 3 March 2026 at 10.00 WIB through the official website www.mudikpertamina2026.com.
Pertamina’s Vice President of Corporate Communication, Muhammad Baron, stated that through the Mudik Bareng Pertamina 2026 programme, Pertamina aims to bring positive energy to the public who wish to celebrate Eid al-Fitr with their families in their hometowns.
“This is part of Pertamina’s commitment to continue providing benefits to the public to support the smooth and safe journey home,” said Baron.
Baron explained that the homebound travel departure is scheduled for Sunday, 15 March 2026 from Keong Mas Plaza at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) in Jakarta. Destination cities include Tasikmalaya, Garut, Cirebon, Purwokerto/Banyumas, Kebumen, Wonosobo/Purworejo, Brebes/Tegal, Pemalang, Cilacap, Pekalongan/Kendal/Semarang, Yogyakarta, Surakarta/Wonogiri, Surabaya, Malang, Ngawi, Madiun, and Banyuwangi.
In addition to the homebound travel service, Pertamina also provides return travel services centred at four cities: Cirebon, Semarang, Yogyakarta, and Surabaya on Saturday, 28 March 2026, with the final destination being Damri Pool Cawang in Jakarta.
Baron added that safety and comfort are the primary priorities in implementing the Mudik Bareng Pertamina 2026 programme. “We ensure that all vehicles used meet safety standards and operational fitness requirements,” explained Baron.
