Pertamina Appoints New Board of Commissioners Including Deputy Investment Minister
The General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPS) of PT Pertamina (Persero) has appointed a new Board of Commissioners for the company. Deputy Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Deputy Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Todotua Pasaribu has been named Vice President Commissioner of Pertamina. Additionally, Deputy Head I of the Poverty Alleviation Acceleration Agency (PPK) Nanik Sudaryati Deyang has been appointed as Independent Commissioner.
The Vice President Commissioner is a newly created position within Pertamina's Board of Commissioners structure. The two outgoing members replaced are Alexander Lay and Iggi H. Achsien, both of whom held Independent Commissioner positions.
According to the official BKPM website, Todotua Pasaribu currently serves as Deputy Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Deputy Head of BKPM, having been inaugurated by President Prabowo Subianto on 21 October 2024. Pasaribu previously served as deputy secretary of the National Campaign Team (TKN) for Prabowo-Gibran during the 2024 presidential election.
Beyond his government career, Pasaribu is also known as a businessman with extensive experience in the energy sector, asset management, and financial technology.
