Jakarta — Non-subsidised Pertamax fuel prices have officially increased as of 1 March 2026, affecting the full tank refuelling costs for several popular B-segment SUVs in Indonesia.

Pertamax (RON 92) prices have risen from IDR 11,800 per litre to IDR 12,350 per litre, representing an increase of IDR 550 per litre. Whilst this may appear modest, the impact becomes significant when refuelling a full tank.

To illustrate the direct impact, simulations have been calculated for several popular B-segment SUVs in Indonesia. This segment was selected due to its substantial market presence and reputation for flexibility in both urban mobility and long-distance travel.

Owners of the Hyundai Creta and Honda HR-V, both with 40-litre fuel tank capacities, will need to budget IDR 494,000 for a full tank of Pertamax.

Owners of the Mitsubishi XForce and Toyota Yaris Cross, both equipped with 42-litre tanks, require IDR 518,700 for a full refuel.

The largest refuelling cost falls on Wuling Alvez owners. With a 45-litre tank capacity, a full tank of Pertamax now costs IDR 555,750.

Summary of full tank costs:

  • Hyundai Creta: IDR 494,000 (40-litre tank)

  • Honda HR-V: IDR 494,000 (40-litre tank)

  • Toyota Yaris Cross: IDR 518,700 (42-litre tank)

  • Mitsubishi XForce: IDR 518,700 (42-litre tank)

  • Wuling Alvez: IDR 555,750 (45-litre tank)
