Jakarta – PT Pertamina has officially adjusted Pertamax fuel prices on Sunday, 1 March 2026, directly impacting daily operational costs for motorcycle riders.

This particularly affects owners of large-capacity scooters such as the Honda PCX 160 and Yamaha Nmax 155, including the Yamaha Nmax Turbo variant.

According to monitoring, Pertamax prices at Pertamina fuel stations have officially risen by Rp 550 per litre, from the previous Rp 11,800 to Rp 12,350 per litre.

Based on official specifications from Astra Honda Motor (AHM), the Honda PCX 160 is equipped with a fuel tank with a capacity of 8.1 litres.

This means that if filled from empty to full using Pertamax, owners must now pay Rp 100,035. Previously, the cost was only Rp 95,580. There is a difference of Rp 4,455 each time the tank is filled.

With the new Pertamax price, a full tank now costs Rp 87,685, up from the previous Rp 83,780. This represents an additional Rp 3,905 each time the tank is filled.

If using Pertalite, the cost is considerably cheaper. For the PCX 160, a full tank costs only around Rp 81,000, whilst for the Nmax Turbo it costs around Rp 71,000. However, fuel choice cannot be based solely on price considerations.

With these specifications, both large-capacity scooters are recommended to use RON 92 octane fuel or equivalent Pertamax to maintain optimal performance and engine longevity.
