JAKARTA - The central and regional governments are promoting the acceleration of the Housing Finance Liquidity Facility (FLPP) distribution in North Sulawesi Province through permitting simplifications.

Commissioner of the State Housing Savings Management Agency (BP Tapera) Heru Pudyo Nugroho stated that the audience with the Governor of North Sulawesi showed increased collaboration in streamlining administrative processes, both for developers and the public.

“The central government, together with the regional government, is enhancing its collaboration in providing ease in administrative processes such as permitting, both to developers as housing providers and to the public in terms of permitting ease,” said Heru, quoted from an official statement on Saturday (11/04/2026).

Heru conveyed that based on discussions between the Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) Maruarar Sirait and North Sulawesi Governor Yulius Selvanus Komaling, the potential for FLPP distribution in the province reaches more than 14,000 housing units.

Heru also outlined the FLPP distribution realisation in North Sulawesi throughout 2025.

From the available data, North Minahasa Regency is the area with the highest absorption compared to other regencies and cities.

This achievement indicates the high demand and market potential for subsidised housing in the region.

The President Director of Bank SulutGo, Revino Pepah, welcomed the efforts to accelerate FLPP distribution, particularly regarding the permitting ease implemented in North Sulawesi.

He mentioned that his side is also promoting the utilisation of FLPP internally by providing easy access for employees to own homes.

“To disseminate these benefits widely, we are implementing a policy of easy access for all Bank SulutGo employees if they wish to participate in applying for home ownership through FLPP, because this is a primary need. It’s different if employees apply for secondary needs services; we direct them to prioritise housing first,” said Revino.

In addition, he highlighted the aspect of insurance partners in the FLPP programme.

“We hope the government can also meet with all insurance providers to discuss alternative insurance schemes specifically for subsidised housing,” said Revino.
