Pelita Air Launches In-Flight Sales Service Featuring Products from SMEs

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Pelita Air, a subsidiary of PT Pertamina (Persero), has launched PAS Sky Shop, an in-flight shopping service or sales on board. This service features modern lifestyle products combined with local potential. Pelita Air’s Commercial Director, Asa Perkasa, stated that PAS Sky Shop offers specially curated products. These include official Pelita Air merchandise, renowned brands, and flagship products from micro, small, and medium enterprises (SMEs) supported by the Pertamina Group. “PAS Sky Shop is more than just a shopping service; it represents Pelita Air’s commitment to supporting outstanding SMEs in promoting their best products directly to our customers,” said Asa Perkasa in an official statement on Tuesday (5/5/2026). Several SME products have been exclusively curated. These include Bali Ayu, which offers natural body and beauty care from Gianyar. There is also Adabina Scarves, providing exclusive travel mukena and hijabs. Additionally, Uwais Craft offers ethnic pouches with distinctive motifs from the Island of the Gods. Owner of Bali Ayu, Komang Yatik, expressed pride that her products are included in this service. “It is a matter of pride that our products can be present and marketed on Pelita Air flights, especially if our products can be closer to the public and colour the journeys of Pelita Air passengers,” she stated. Passengers can transact directly using Mastercard and Visa credit cards. “This service is expected to add a new colour to flights while becoming part of our ongoing transformation in service quality,” Asa emphasised.
