PDI crisis
PDI crisis
From Media Indonesia
The government has stated that PDI crisis is an internal
problem of the Party itself, and that the Party must solve it
through talks. But media reports suggest there are external
factors which aggravate the crisis, and that people are being
intimidated.
This undermines democratic principles and is a violation of
human rights. It also robs individuals of their freedom.
Therefore it is necessary for the National Committee for Human
Rights to take steps to prevent things going from bad to worse.
