Pati Regency is becoming one of the key locations in efforts to improve local financial governance. Pati (ANTARA) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) states that anti-corruption prevention efforts in Pati Regency, Central Java, are focused on supervising the entire regional budget (APBD) cycle, from planning and budgeting to procurement of goods and services. “Pati Regency is one of the key points in efforts to improve local financial governance,” said Head of the Prevention Task Force of the Directorate of Coordination and Supervision (Korsup) Region III of the KPK, Azril Zah, during a corruption eradication socialisation event at the Pati Regency Pendopo on Wednesday. The event was attended by Acting Regent (Plt) of Pati Risma Ardhi Chandra, members of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), heads of regional apparatus organisations (OPD), and village heads. He added that the KPK will conduct in-depth analysis to identify vulnerable points and formulate measurable action plans. “We will examine vulnerable points, compile action plans with clear targets, and monitor their implementation periodically,” he stated. Meanwhile, Acting Regent of Pati Risma Ardhi Chandra conveyed that the Pati Regency Government is actively seeking KPK assistance, particularly in managing infrastructure budgets which carry high risks. “All implementations must follow procedures and prevailing laws and regulations,” he said. He emphasised that accelerating development remains a priority, but it must be balanced with intensive coordination with the KPK to ensure optimal and beneficial results for the community. Additionally, he reminded all civil servants (ASN) to work transparently and accountably. “We are supervised by the KPK and the public, so every programme must be implemented openly and in accordance with provisions,” he stated.
