Pati (ANTARA) - The Corruption\nEradication Commission (KPK) states that anti-corruption prevention\nefforts in Pati Regency, Central Java, are focused on supervising the\nentire regional budget (APBD) cycle, from planning and budgeting to\nprocurement of goods and services. \u201cPati Regency is one of the key\npoints in efforts to improve local financial governance,\u201d said Head of\nthe Prevention Task Force of the Directorate of Coordination and\nSupervision (Korsup) Region III of the KPK, Azril Zah, during a\ncorruption eradication socialisation event at the Pati Regency Pendopo\non Wednesday. The event was attended by Acting Regent (Plt) of Pati\nRisma Ardhi Chandra, members of the Regional Leadership Coordination\nForum (Forkopimda), heads of regional apparatus organisations (OPD), and\nvillage heads. He added that the KPK will conduct in-depth analysis to\nidentify vulnerable points and formulate measurable action plans. \u201cWe\nwill examine vulnerable points, compile action plans with clear targets,\nand monitor their implementation periodically,\u201d he stated. Meanwhile,\nActing Regent of Pati Risma Ardhi Chandra conveyed that the Pati Regency\nGovernment is actively seeking KPK assistance, particularly in managing\ninfrastructure budgets which carry high risks. \u201cAll implementations must\nfollow procedures and prevailing laws and regulations,\u201d he said. He\nemphasised that accelerating development remains a priority, but it must\nbe balanced with intensive coordination with the KPK to ensure optimal\nand beneficial results for the community.
