My partner works for PT UI, a company of multinational
consumer goods. As a senior employee my partner has to attend
several meetings daily, two to three hours per day. For the past
three months my partner coughs a lot. The cigarette smoke inhaled
during the routine meetings is strongly suspected to be cause of
the cough.

What a saddening thing! A non-smoker has to suffer the impact
of somebody else's smoking. Yet the management has done nothing
about it.

Could the health authorities advocate a regulation by which
smoking can be proportionally dealt with and thus avoid other
such cases?
