Pasar Rebo Sub-District Head to Gather PPSU and Kalisari Ward Head Following AI Response to JAKI Report
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The Pasar Rebo sub-district head, Mujiono, will gather all Public Facilities and Infrastructure Handling Officers (PPSU), section heads, and the Kalisari ward head following the results of a JAKI app report that was allegedly processed using artificial intelligence (AI).
“We are gathering them for guidance regarding this matter (AI),” said Mujiono, when contacted on Monday (6/4/2026).
Mujiono was known to be attending a limited meeting at the East Jakarta Mayor’s Office.
“Since PPSU are ward devices, I am delegating the authority to the ward head,” he explained.
Meanwhile, the Kalisari ward head, Nurhasanah, has not provided much information on the matter.
She admitted to still attending a meeting with East Jakarta Mayor Munjirin discussing similar issues.
“Excuse me, I cannot provide a statement yet because I am at the Mayor’s Office regarding the same matter,” she clarified.
The owner of the Threads account @seinsh mentioned that residents had reported the illegal parking problem up to the ward level.
Residents also reported it via the JAKI app.
However, the report was said to remain unresolved.
The reporter also claimed to have received follow-up evidence that was allegedly manipulated using artificial intelligence (AI).
“How to handle illegal parking on ward roads? Residents protested directly to the perpetrators without success, reported to the ward level without resolution, tried reporting via JAKI and got fake evidence from AI edits,” wrote the account in the post.
The Head of the Jakarta Communication, Informatics, and Statistics Office (Diskominfotik) DKI Jakarta, Budi Awaluddin, acknowledged an error in validating the follow-up of the complaint.
“The Bureau of Government acknowledges an error in the validation process. To date, no follow-up evidence for complaints using AI-generated photos has been found,” Budi said in his statement on Sunday (5/4/2026).
Budi stated that from January to March 2026, the total public complaints received through various channels, including the JAKI app and the Public Quick Response System (CRM), reached 62,571 reports.
Additionally, administrative steps will be taken by issuing a warning letter to Kalisari Ward, which is allegedly involved in this case.
