The Ministry of Immigration and Corrections has officially revoked the parole of Indra Kesuma, also known as Indra Kenz. He has consequently been returned to Tangerang Class I Prison.

Ishadi Maja Prayitno, head of development and services at the West Java Regional Office of the Directorate General of Corrections, said the revocation had been acted upon by collecting Indra Kenz from the location where he was serving parole and transferring him to Tangerang Class I Prison.

“Indra Kenz was also co-operative and willing to accept the decision to revoke his parole decree. We took him into custody at 11.30am and set off for Tangerang Prison; he had arrived at Tangerang Class I Prison by 2.30pm,” Ishadi said, as quoted by Antara on Thursday (8 October 2026).

Previously, the Inspector General of the Ministry of Immigration and Corrections had recommended that the Directorate General of Corrections revoke the parole of convicted fraudster Indra Kenz.

Rudi said the recommendation followed an internal investigation after Indonesia’s Ombudsman found luxury facilities at Cibinong Class II A Prison on Wednesday (23 September).

“Indra Kusuma (Indra Kenz): the Directorate General of Corrections has been advised to revoke his parole,” Rudi said.

According to Rudi, the investigation found suspected abuse of authority, irregularities in reporting state-owned assets, and breaches of several standard operating procedures at Cibinong Prison.

The findings included three containers at Cibinong Prison recorded as state-owned assets, containing luxury facilities procured by inmates, one of whom was Indra Kenz.

Indra Kenz was granted parole on 24 September 2026, a day after the Ombudsman found the luxury facilities.

He was previously sentenced to 10 years in prison in connection with the fraudulent Binomo investment scheme and money laundering. While on parole, he was required to report to the Bogor Correctional Centre once a month. He had served around five years of his 10-year sentence.
