The Ministry of Immigration and Corrections has officially revoked\nthe parole of Indra Kesuma, also known as Indra Kenz. He has\nconsequently been returned to Tangerang Class I Prison.<\/p>\n
Ishadi Maja Prayitno, head of development and services at the West\nJava Regional Office of the Directorate General of Corrections, said the\nrevocation had been acted upon by collecting Indra Kenz from the\nlocation where he was serving parole and transferring him to Tangerang\nClass I Prison.<\/p>\n
\u201cIndra Kenz was also co-operative and willing to accept the decision\nto revoke his parole decree. We took him into custody at 11.30am and set\noff for Tangerang Prison; he had arrived at Tangerang Class I Prison by\n2.30pm,\u201d Ishadi said, as quoted by Antara on Thursday (8 October\n2026).<\/p>\n
Previously, the Inspector General of the Ministry of Immigration and\nCorrections had recommended that the Directorate General of Corrections\nrevoke the parole of convicted fraudster Indra Kenz.<\/p>\n
Rudi said the recommendation followed an internal investigation after\nIndonesia\u2019s Ombudsman found luxury facilities at Cibinong Class II A\nPrison on Wednesday (23 September).<\/p>\n
\u201cIndra Kusuma (Indra Kenz): the Directorate General of Corrections\nhas been advised to revoke his parole,\u201d Rudi said.<\/p>\n
According to Rudi, the investigation found suspected abuse of\nauthority, irregularities in reporting state-owned assets, and breaches\nof several standard operating procedures at Cibinong Prison.<\/p>\n
The findings included three containers at Cibinong Prison recorded as\nstate-owned assets, containing luxury facilities procured by inmates,\none of whom was Indra Kenz.<\/p>\n
Indra Kenz was granted parole on 24 September 2026, a day after the\nOmbudsman found the luxury facilities.<\/p>\n
He was previously sentenced to 10 years in prison in connection with\nthe fraudulent Binomo investment scheme and money laundering. While on\nparole, he was required to report to the Bogor Correctional Centre once\na month.
