Jakarta — President Prabowo Subianto has submitted a list of ten nominees for OJK (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan/Financial Services Authority) board commissioner positions to Parliament for fit and proper testing in Commission XI today, Wednesday 11 March 2026.

This was announced by Commission XI Chairman Mukhamad Misbakhun, referencing presidential decree number R-09 dated 9 March 2026.

“There are ten names that have been submitted to us, and these are for a five-year term in accordance with the presidential decree sent to parliamentary leadership,” said Misbakhun at Parliament House in Jakarta on Tuesday 10 March 2026.

Misbakhun stated that the ten names, selected from a total of twenty candidates who passed administrative screening by the OJK selection committee, will be reduced to five based on fit and proper test results to fill the five OJK board commissioner positions.

“The ten names will fill five specific areas: the chairman position I mentioned earlier, then vice chairman, capital markets, digital assets, and consumer protection,” Misbakhun emphasised.

According to Misbakhun, the ten OJK board commissioner candidates will undergo the fit and proper test the following day. On the same day, Commission XI will immediately determine the five selected names, which will then be officially appointed by Parliament in a plenary session on 12 March 2025.

Based on the schedule received, the fit and proper testing process will commence at 10:30 AM at Commission XI meeting room. Each candidate will be given thirty minutes to present their vision and mission and undergo a question-and-answer session with parliament members.
