The Pandeglang Samsat office, together with the Pandeglang Police Traffic Unit, conducted enforcement raids targeting vehicles with delinquent tax payments. The raid was carried out due to widespread non-compliance among residents in paying vehicle taxes.

“From South Banten, there are still many tax delinquents—nearly a thousand,” said Ina Rohaeti, Head of Collections at the Pandeglang Samsat Branch office, at Pandeglang Alun-alun Square on Friday (27 February 2026).

According to Ina, 24 motorcycles and two motor vehicles were apprehended during the raid for failing to pay their taxes. Vehicle owners caught were given a six-day window to settle their outstanding tax obligations.

“Caught in the raid were 24 motorcycles and two motor vehicles,” she stated.

Ina added that if payment is not made within the six-day period, her office would conduct door-to-door visits to the homes of tax delinquents. This approach was adopted to ensure that vehicle tax revenue targets could be achieved.

“We have data from the system, and we may follow up with door-to-door visits to homes,” she explained.

Vehicle tax collection efforts by the Pandeglang Samsat will continue on an ongoing basis. In addition to roadside enforcement operations, Samsat plans to conduct door-to-door collections.

“Going forward, we will conduct door-to-door visits,” Ina concluded.
