Overcoming flood

Overcoming flood

Flood is a natural phenomenon whose arrival can actually be
anticipated. Unfortunately, the public has shifted all the
responsibility to prevent this catastrophe to the government.
It is common for the people to reclaim rivers, dispose of garbage
in them and to turn water catchment areas into concrete.

And there are members of the government bureaucracy who ignore
the presence of illegal squatters or colluded with businessmen to
alter the master plan.

This is by no means an attempt to put the government at odds
with the people. On the contrary, we are hoping the two can work
together as the Dutch colonial government did with businessmen in
the past.

Through this cooperation they turned the forest in the
mountainous Puncak area into a tea plantation and constructed a
flood canal in Jakarta. This was a win-win situation.

We know that our experts both in and outside the government
can find a way out of the flood problem by imitating the Dutch
colonial government.
