Bogor Regent Rudy Susmanto has achieved a public satisfaction rating of 83.29 per cent in his first year of governance. The figure is based on a survey conducted by the Visi Nusan institute, reflecting broad public appreciation.

The positive report card was derived from various programmes implemented across multiple development sectors and public services in the Bogor regency.

Infrastructure development emerged as the top-performing sector with the highest satisfaction level of 92.19 per cent. This was followed by the culture sector, which scored 91.50 per cent, indicating that physical development modernisation has proceeded in harmony with the preservation of local values.

Environmental management and public communications also demonstrated solid performance, registering 89.13 per cent and 88.94 per cent respectively. This suggests the local government’s communication approach has been assessed as sufficiently transparent and responsive by the public.

Public satisfaction across various other sectors also received favourable marks: social affairs and public services remained stable at between 86 and 88 per cent; education earned public confidence at 86.44 per cent; and health scored 85.94 per cent.

Security stood at 84.44 per cent, whilst law and order registered 79.75 per cent. Anti-corruption efforts received a positive score of 79.38 per cent, and transport came in at 74.25 per cent.

Although generally within the green zone, the economy sector recorded 72.94 per cent, employment 73.56 per cent, and agriculture 72.88 per cent.

The average satisfaction rating of 83.29 per cent represents both a mandate and a source of motivation for the Bogor regency administration under Regent Rudy Susmanto’s leadership.

With aggregate achievement exceeding 80 per cent, Susmanto’s leadership has been assessed as successful in maintaining regional stability whilst meeting the public’s basic expectations regarding physical development and administrative services.

Social and political policy observer Yusfitiadi presented the survey results on public satisfaction with the first year of leadership under Regent Rudy Susmanto and Deputy Regent Ade Ruhandi. According to Yusfitiadi, this survey was more comprehensive, encompassing 16 performance indicators, priority programmes, and the effectiveness of public communications.

Yusfitiadi stated that the Susmanto-Ruhandi administration had succeeded in building a positive public perception through physical development and progressive communications. “The government must begin transitioning from merely output-based programmes towards impactful programmes. Data must become the primary basis for determining future development priorities,” he concluded.
