Danantara Indonesia marked its first anniversary through a joint reflection activity held at Wisma Danantara, Jakarta, on Tuesday, 11 March 2026. The milestone was attended by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, cabinet ministers, and leaders and personnel of Danantara Indonesia.

On this occasion, President Prabowo Subianto provided guidance on the importance of maintaining integrity, disciplined governance practices, and long-term orientation in managing state assets. The President emphasised that these principles form the primary foundation for strengthening national economic resilience and promoting sustainable development.

President Prabowo stressed that Danantara Indonesia was established to ensure state asset management is conducted professionally and oriented towards the nation’s long-term interests, thereby capable of delivering tangible added value for national development and public welfare.

“We are grateful that Indonesia now has a state investment management institution that can be compared with sovereign wealth funds at the global level. Within this first year, it is evident that with good management, disciplined governance, and strong commitment, the performance of state asset management can improve significantly. However, this achievement is just the beginning. Going forward, we must continue to strengthen governance and improve performance so that state asset management truly provides maximum benefit for the Indonesian people,” said Prabowo.

This first-year celebration carried the theme “One Danantara,” reflecting the spirit of all state-owned enterprises moving in unison to strengthen the foundation of the national economy and create wider impact for future generations.

Danantara Indonesia CEO Rosan Roeslani said the first year of Danantara’s journey focused on building strong institutional foundations and governance whilst ensuring that the direction of state investment management remains grounded in creating long-term benefit for society. “State asset management ultimately must deliver tangible impact for the nation’s future. Therefore, commitment to developing the future generation is also an important part of Danantara Indonesia’s journey,” said Rosan.

This commitment is reflected not only in strengthening governance and the structure of state asset management, but also in various initiatives affirming that development results must deliver tangible benefits for society, including Indonesia’s youth.

As a symbol of commitment to the future of the nation’s children, symbolic delivery of 88,000 school supply packages for children throughout Indonesia was also conducted on this occasion. This programme was implemented simultaneously by state-owned enterprises in various regions as a form of support for educational access and preparation of Indonesia’s Golden Generation.

PT TASPEN (Persero) participated in the school supply package distribution programme implemented simultaneously by state-owned enterprises in various regions. In Bengkulu Province, TASPEN delivered 2,000 school packages to students at seven primary and junior secondary schools: SDN 47 Kota Bengkulu, SDN 76 Kota Bengkulu, SDN 102 Kota Bengkulu, SDN 105 Kota Bengkulu, SMPN 16 Kota Bengkulu, SMPN 23 Kota Bengkulu, and SMPN 25 Kota Bengkulu.

Through this first-year milestone, Danantara Indonesia reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening governance foundations, improving the quality of state asset management, and promoting strategic investments that deliver long-term economic and social impact for Indonesia.

“This first year is a phase of building foundations. Going forward, our focus is to ensure these foundations are translated into tangible performance through strong governance, professional state asset management, and strategic investments that benefit the national economy and the future of Indonesia’s generation,” said Rosan.
