JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The Financial Services Authority (OJK) states that the crowdfunding or securities crowdfunding (SCF) industry is one of the supporters of the SME sector.

Head of the Directorate of Supervision for Securities Companies 2 and Crowdfunding Services, Muhammad Adi Wijoyo, said that SMEs are currently one of the drivers of the Indonesian economy.

“Securities Crowdfunding (SCF) is an OJK policy to support the sustainability of SMEs,” he said during the SCF Days 2026 Governance to Growth in the Capital Market event on Tuesday (5/5/2026).

There are 611 issuers and 196,000 investors registered in SCF.

Meanwhile, the value of funds disbursed has reached Rp1.95 trillion.

“Or most recently, it has reached around Rp2 trillion. Compared to the early days in 2018-2019 when it was still very small,” he revealed.

Adi revealed that OJK will continue to strengthen the SCF industry with support for digitalisation and access to capital through platforms.

“OJK continuously encourages innovation to improve the quality and development of SCF. In addition, it is also carrying out evaluations in parallel to anticipate various challenges faced by the SCF industry,” he stated.

Furthermore, he hopes that SCF organisers that have obtained permission from OJK can continue to improve understanding and compliance with regulations, including strengthening governance.

“In the end, it will encourage the sustainability of the issuers’ or SMEs’ businesses and increase public participation in investing in SCF instruments,” he said.

General Chairman of the Indonesian Crowdfunding Services Association (Aludi), Patrick Gunadi, said that the total fund disbursement has reached Rp2.1 trillion with around 196,000 investors, both retail and institutional.

Meanwhile, there are 530 issuers from various sectors ranging from food and beverages, agriculture, property, health services, and ESG-based sectors.
