Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – All fuel distribution companies across Indonesia have collectively raised the price of non-subsidised fuel from 1 March 2026.

Whilst these price increases have not yet been affected by the impact of the conflict in the Middle East between Israel, the United States, and Iran, fuel prices for the March 2026 period have risen compared to February 2026, in line with global crude oil price movements over the preceding two months and fluctuations in the rupiah-US dollar exchange rate and the Mean of Platts Singapore (MOPS) index.

Petrol stations operated by Pertamina, Shell Indonesia, BP-AKR, Vivo Energy Indonesia, and ExxonMobil’s Mobil Indostation have all raised non-subsidised fuel prices from 1 March 2026.

At Pertamina petrol stations in Greater Jakarta, for example, RON 92 fuel (Pertamax) increased to Rp 12,300 per litre from Rp 11,800 per litre in February 2026.

Pertamax Green (RON 95) rose to Rp 12,900 per litre from Rp 12,450 per litre.

Similarly, Pertamax Turbo (RON 98) increased to Rp 13,100 per litre from Rp 12,700 per litre.

Diesel fuel Dexlite rose to Rp 14,200 per litre from Rp 13,250 per litre, and Pertamina Dex increased to Rp 14,500 per litre from Rp 13,500 per litre in February 2026.

“PT Pertamina (Persero) is adjusting fuel prices in general in order to implement Ministerial Decision (Kepmen) ESDM No. 245.K/MG.01/MEM.M/2022 as an amendment to Kepmen No. 62 K/12/MEM/2020 concerning the Base Price Formula in the Calculation of Retail Fuel Prices for General Fuel Types – Petrol and Diesel Distributed Through General Petrol Stations,” Pertamina stated in its official announcement released on Monday, 2 March 2026.

As for subsidised fuel sold at Pertamina petrol stations, such as RON 90 (Pertalite) and subsidised diesel, prices remained unchanged at Rp 10,000 and Rp 6,800 per litre respectively.

Not only Pertamina, but other private petrol station operators including Shell, BP-AKR, Vivo, and ExxonMobil’s Mobil Indostation also raised non-subsidised fuel prices in March 2026.

For instance, BP-AKR’s BP 92 fuel was priced at Rp 12,390 per litre in March 2026, up from Rp 12,050 per litre in February 2026.

BP Ultimate also increased to Rp 12,920 per litre from Rp 12,500 per litre. Similarly, BP Ultimate Diesel rose to Rp 14,620 per litre from Rp 13,600 per litre.

Shell Super (RON 92) was priced at Rp 12,390 per litre and Shell V-Power Diesel at Rp 14,620 per litre. However, fuel availability at Shell petrol stations appeared to remain limited.

Non-subsidised fuel prices at various petrol stations from 1 March have remained the same through to Monday, 16 March 2026.
