Odd-Even Traffic Rule Suspended in Jakarta's Key Areas, Check the Locations

Jakarta’s Transportation Office (Dishub) has suspended the implementation of odd-even traffic restrictions on Tuesday, 3 March 2026, across several key roads. The policy applies specifically to Jalan Pintu Besar Selatan, Jalan Hayam Wuruk, and Jalan Gajah Mada. The announcement was made through the official Dishub DKI Jakarta Instagram account on Tuesday afternoon.

According to Dishub, the suspension of odd-even restrictions is based on Article 5, Paragraph (1) of Jakarta Governor Regulation No. 155 of 2018 concerning Traffic Restrictions Using the Odd-Even System. The Transportation Office stated that the odd-even restrictions are being lifted on 3 March 2026 specifically on Jalan Pintu Besar Selatan, Jalan Hayam Wuruk, and Jalan Gajah Mada.

Dishub urged road users to adjust to the modified traffic arrangements and continue adhering to traffic signs and the directions of traffic officers in the field. The office appealed to all road users to prioritise safety and comply with traffic regulations for the benefit of smooth traffic flow. The policy is expected to support improved traffic conditions in these areas whilst maintaining safety and road discipline standards.
