This year's mission project at Tryggheim Upper Secondary School in Jæren, Norway, resulted in a record-high sum of 1,875,000 Norwegian kroner for aid and evangelisation work in Indonesia.

Rather than bringing bad luck, Friday the 13th brought joy and happiness to the students at Tryggheim Upper Secondary School. During the farewell celebration for Year 13 students and graduating Year 12 vocational students, the total raised from this year's mission project was announced: a full 1,875,000 kroner had been collected.

This year's sum was 200,000 kroner higher than the previous fundraising record set just one year ago, the school said in a press release.

Regional leader Rune Mjølhus of the Norwegian Lutheran Mission received a symbolic cheque for 1,875,000 kroner from mission project leader and graduating student Hanna Indrebø during the closing ceremony.
