JAKARTA — Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung has urged the public to start switching to public transportation following the rise in non-subsidised fuel (BBM) prices.

The increase applies to several products, such as Pertamax Turbo, Dexlite, and Pertamina Dex, effective from Saturday (18/4/2026).

Pramono emphasised that fuel pricing policy is the authority of the central government.

“For BBM, it is the authority of the Central Government, so whatever adjustments are made to non-subsidised BBM prices, the DKI Jakarta Government will follow that,” said Pramono.

He also assured that the DKI Provincial Government will not provide additional subsidies for non-subsidised BBM users.

This rise in non-subsidised BBM prices is considered significant.

Pertamax Turbo is now priced at Rp 19,400 per litre, up Rp 6,300 from the previous Rp 13,100 per litre.

Meanwhile, Pertamina Dex has also risen by Rp 9,400, from Rp 14,500 to Rp 23,900 per litre.

On the other hand, Pertamax remains at Rp 12,300 per litre, and Pertamax Green 95 is still sold at Rp 12,900 per litre.
