No duty on ship parts
JAKARTA (JP): The government has extended the zero percent import duty facility on ship parts and apparatus for shipping safety for another year.
Agus Haryanto, a spokesman for the Ministry of Finance, said that the facility, which expired on March 31, has been extended for another year until March 31, 1995.
He said importers are required to apply for the facility to the Directorate General of Customs and Excise, with a recommendation letter from the Directorate General of Sea Transportation.
The measure is stipulated by the Finance Minister's Decree No. 339/KMK.01/1994. (hen)
