'No decision on leaving IMF'
'No decision on leaving IMF'

The deputy governor of Bank Indonesia said on Tuesday the country has not yet decided whether it will graduate from the International Monetary Fund's financial shelter.
"The decision's not been made," said Miranda Goeltom. But, she said, authorities are considering what conditions would be necessary before such a step could be taken.
"From Bank Indonesia's outlook, no oil price crash below US$12 a barrel and no major political disruptions" would be necessary. All politicians involved in such a move would also have to be on board, she told an audience at an Asia Society conference.
"It has everything to do with perceptions," she added. "We have to be able to convince the market that whatever policy framework is on the table is consistently deliverable."
The country's balance of payments outlook is "still okay," she noted, adding that it would be "affordable to refinance through the Paris Club" of lenders, a grouping of creditor nations.
The government has been facing strong political pressure not to continue the existing IMF program when it expires end of this year.
