Night sprint rally in Bogor

JAKARTA (JP): A night sprint rally will be held for the first time in Indonesia in Lido resort, Bogor, West Java, from Dec. 9 to Dec. 10. The rally will be combined with a jamboree of the Jakarta chapter of the Indonesian Automotive Association.

Top sprinters will take part in the rally, the last of a fifth-leg series. The rally's fourth leg has already been held, with Hutomo Mandala Putra topping the points with 65, followed by Tony Hardianto with 55 points, Dolly Indra Nasution with 48 points, Oki Harwanto and Arief Indiarto with 23 points.

The night rally will have five classes, Class A for four wheel drive, Class B for front wheel drive, Class C for rear wheel drive, Class D for jeep and Class E for pickup truck. It will also feature a special event for female drivers. (arf)
